Vanessa Paterson’s Backpacking Adventure #6

Hi!

We’re onto week 6!

This week Nessa’s staying with the . . . okay, so my game has the household as the Ngata household, but most of them have the last name Illes. But, y’know, that family in Sulani with the blonde chick and her super buff wife. (Right? They are married, aren’t they? Now that I’ve typed it I’m doubting myself. XP)

Her challenge this week: Match-Maker. ^^

It’s somewhere around 3 or 4 am on Sunday when she shows up to itroduce herself.

They have a child, a toddler, and an infant. Fun.

This is Devon, and he’s adorable. Look at him, double-fisting some juice or milk or water. XD

However, there are only 2 bedrooms and her tent was taken by the repo guy last time, so. Nessa’s napping on the couches and lounge chairs outside.

She also had a project in her inventory, so she starts that up and gets Leila and Tane(? I think?) to help her out.

Gotta get those friends for that aspiration.

Cooking for the household!

They have a pretty nice kitchen. Fridge is in a weird spot, though. Totally thought they didn’t have one for a sec after a cursory glance. XP

No one takes care of themselves at all! They all just take turns passing out for a while.

Oliana(? again, I think? I am terrible at names today, apparently) starts a fire and can’t seem to decide if she should be worried about it for a second.

Nessa takes a vacation day and heads off to the beach for the day.

And when she comes back, everything’s repaired!

Her social need is doing much better here than it was with Dirk. XP

She starts knitting a pair of socks autonomously about an hour before she’s due to go to school.

Did she fail because she’s in a bad mood? Because she’s at charisma level 7, this shoulda been an easy job.

I just really liked her diving suit, it’s pretty.

And then she goes snorkeling!

Both buoys are just off the Illes home lot.

. . . Okay. I coulda sworn I got at least one shot of her taking care of the baby (Minkz) but it’s not in my folder?

Anyway, the infant has disappeared and there’s no toddler to be found. I don’t know where he went. O_O

But I did get a notification from MCCC that Leila and Oliana are pregnant, so. Either right before or right after Vanessa’s week here ends, there’ll be another Illes family member running around! ^^

Apparently Oliana and Leila have a dirty house, because WW gave Nessa an STD (WTD? XP) despite the fact she’s never even kissed anyone. So she went off to the library in Willow Creek for computer access to purchase a couple necessary items. 😛

Then it’s off to the Britechester commons in an attempt to pass time until she gets to move on to the next week.

She winds up back at her home lot for an odd job late Friday evening.

Then she winds up at a restaurant practicing magic–annd a stranger dies.

Cassandra Goth got a bit of a makeover because I adore her but the outfit and hair EA put her in drive me bananas. XD

And Cass is Nessa’s new BFF!

And a little chatting with Morgan Fyres finishes up another milestone. ^^

And we finish up the week with a yard sale, bringing household funds over 1,000 simoleons! 😀

Weekly task: failed. No single sim(s) in the household to match-make and no one was ever in an okay enough mood to make things more romantic between the couple she was staying with.
