Vanessa Paterson’s Backpacking Adventure #4

Heya!

Week 4!

Vanessa’s gonna be staying in Glimmerbrook, with the Amicable Acolytes Grace and Tomax.

Tomax is impatient and makes himself breakfast while Vanessa’s trying to make some for the household.

Grace is pregnant!

Very pregnant, actually. Like, could go into labor at any time pregnant.

So in an attempt to keep her from glitching during labor, Vanessa decides to try a street sale in San Myshuno, outside the art gallery.

Where 2 people overheat and die because there’s a heatwave here and they were dumb and didn’t wear their hot weather outfits.

(Grim froze, so I reset the dead sims and Vanessa left.)

When she gets back to the house, little Deonte Anansi has been born!

And is ignored by his mother for his entire infancy.

I guess Tomax got struck by lightning.

It takes like, a day and a half of him not going to clean himself up for Vanessa to realize scruberoo would probably work on him.

UghNessaMind: Hello, world! 

She creates a social media profile. She’s got a couple celebrities in her host family list, and it’s gonna be tons of fun if she doesn’t have any celebrity herself.

Also I just really wanted to use the username I made up and couldn’t figure out how to bring it up when I’m not much of a sim writer. XP

She’s been trying to continue this knitting thing she started . . . I dunno when for ages. Figure she’s in a pretty good mood, so she can go ahead and do a project or two.

Learning more spells!

I didn’t explore the spellcaster thing near enough with Nichole before moving her out.

So, spoiler alert: the weekly task is a fail. XP She manages to invite Jesminder here over and introduce her to Grace, but that’s it.

And Tomax is living off coffee instead of sleep, so he passes out with his arm twisted in a position that probably should’ve broken it. XP

Thursday and Friday are her school days this week, and therefore also her work days!

She’s really good at this wingman thing. XD

Saturday. Or late Friday night. Either way: getting her fun up before she leaves!

I haven’t seen these two talk to each other once since Vanessa came over. It’s good to see them talk. XP

One more odd job for the week and we’re gonna leave it with her magicking up some food for dinner!

It was cool to stay with some spellcasters–she’s up to rank 3 in her spellcasting(?), and one of the reward things I gave her gives her a few special interactions with other spellcasters and it helps quite a bit.

I . . . don’t know how to end these posts anymore. XD I really like this challenge, though, it’s fun! Even with all the traveling I usually don’t like doing because a while back my game liked to make a game of crashing during loading screens and now I’m paranoid. XP

But okay. Ending post. I’ll see y’all next time, yeah? ^^
