Vanessa Paterson’s Backpacking Adventure #3

Hiya!

So, the list of host-family rolls has been updated, so I did some rerolling and . . . Vanessa’s going to Willow Creek to stay with the Spencer-Kim-Lewis family!

Her task for the week? Mini Vacation! She and the family get to go to Selvadorada for 1 night!

Let’s get into it, yeah? ^^

She shows up at their door after midnight on Sunday, grabs herself a midnight snack, and goes to one of the many, many free beds.

Introducing herself to everyone in the morning completes milestone 2 of her aspiration. ^^

And then she’s setting up the 1-day vacation to Selvadorada!

And whaddya know, it did, in fact, drain her bank account. XP

It’s a pretty boring vacation, too, to be honest. The house wasn’t near the market, and Selvadorada’s in the middle of a heatwave so everyone else stayed in the house while she went out to excavate a couple vases and tear up her hands. XP

When they got back to Willow Creek, she spent a little more time with Alice at the chess table, and watched some TV with Eric and Dennis.

She trolls a few forums . . .

And then she goes out to attempt a street sale in Oasis Springs because Willow Creek is very rainy.

She doesn’t manage to sell anything.

Eric starts a fire as soon as she steps foot back on their lot.

She’s learned a new spell!

I spend the rest of the time playing trying not to abuse it. XP

Wednesday is spent going to school, attempting a yard sale, and doing an odd job. ^^

Dennis wet himself when she got back, so she used scruberoo to clean him up again!

I’m . . . not entirely sure what happened here. I don’t even know what that pile of ash was.

((That blue light is lightning striking right on the other side of the wall.))

Very early in the morning, she’s back at her home lot–brief time travel, thanks game!–she talks to Lilith a bit while waiting for school to start.

She has an A!

And another odd job–trying to help Mortimer Goth confess his feelings to someone. (Sir, you are married!)

She spends some time doing homework . . .

And we end week 3 roller-skating! 😀

Successful week, yay!

I opened my game earlier than usual today, so I don’t remember how things were going at the end of week 3, but week 4 is also played through. ^^ (Might hold off on posting it ’till tomorrow, though, to avoid being spammy. XP)

So I’ll see y’all later, yeah? I might be posting Mya’s Strangerville adventure later tonight. ^^
